Russian presidential spokesman (Kremlin) Dmitry Peskov confirmed that there are strict security measures to always secure Russian President Vladimir Putin, regardless of attempts to assassinate other presidents.
In response to a question from reporters about the need to increase security measures to protect Putin after the assassination attempts on former US President Donald Trump and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Peskov said: “For obvious reasons, security has already been strengthened regardless of the above-mentioned events,” according to the Russian TASS news agency.
The Kremlin spokesman added, "Everything necessary is being done to protect the head of state, due to the tensions that the world is currently witnessing in general."
