The Kremlin, headquarter of the Russian presidency, announced today, Friday, that it is not excluded the possibility of a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Vlodomir Zelensky, Russia Today reported.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Friday: "No one is ruling out the possibility of a meeting between Putin and Zelensky. Yes, this meeting is conceptually possible."
At the same time, Peskov stressed the need for ministers and delegations from both sides to complete their work first. "
He added that the two presidents do not meet for the sake of meeting and talking, but for the sake of achieving a result."
The Russian presidential spokesman revealed that positions of the Russian side in this regard are clear and known, and the Ukrainian negotiators have been informed of them, stressing that Moscow is waiting for Kyiv's response.
