Kofta- dish of balls of meat, cheese, or vegetables mixed with spices, or one of these balls - is an adorable oriental meal by many people and it suits those who pursue a certain diet.
Here’s an easy recipe that doesn’t need an oven and can be prepared in minutes.
Ingredients
½ kilo meat loaf
1 big onion, cut into cubes
2 garlic cloves
½ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp Ketchup
Salt, pepper
Pinch of seven spice mix
Pinch of sugar
Vegetables as desired
Recipe
In a mixer, add onion and garlic then blend them well.
As a next step, add meat loaf, salt, pepper, sugar, seven spice mix and ketchup.
Mix all components for minimum 3 minutes then shape the kofta paste in to small long pieces
Heat few oil in a frying pan, then add kofta pieces with slices of vegetables like onion, carrot, tomato and hot pepper.
Turn all components on the other side when the bottom layer gets a golden brown color.
After the components are completely done, turn off the heat cover the pan for 3 minutes.
For garnishing, add some chopped parsley on its top and serve with bread and Tahini sauce
