Khattabi: Media Excellence Is a Shared Responsibility in the Digital Age

Speaking at the opening of the first meeting of the 10th Arab Media Excellence Award committee at the Arab League headquarters, Khattabi said the award aims to promote professionalism, innovation and ethical competition across print, broadcast and digital media.

Khattabi stressed that responsible media must remain close to people’s humanitarian and development concerns, particularly those of youth and vulnerable groups. He highlighted digital transformation and artificial intelligence as key themes of the current edition, noting their profound impact on media ethics, content production and professional standards.

He also praised Kuwait’s sponsorship of the award under the Arab League, calling it a vital contribution to strengthening transparency, credibility and institutional development in Arab media.
