Canadian singer-songwriter Justin Bieber has paused his Justice World Tour due to sickness, hours before his first concert in Toronto.
"Can't believe I'm saying this. I've done everything to get better but my sickness is getting worse. My heart breaks that I will have to postpone these next few shows (doctors orders)," he wrote on his Instagram Story.
“To all my people I love you so much and I’m gonna rest and get better!” the “Peaches” singer concluded.
After a scheduled two-night gig at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Bieber was set to travel to Washington, D.C., next, followed by two nights at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Whether these shows will be affected is yet unknown.
The Justice World Tour was set to kick off last summer but due to Coronavirus restrictions varying by state, the tour was moved to 2022.
The tour will travel to over 40 countries from May 2022 to March 2023. Two of his previous shows in Las Vegas were also postponed after his positive coronavirus test results.
Fans who hold tickets for the Toronto shows have taken to Twitter to express their frustration over the show being rescheduled three times, amid tweets of concerns and confusion.
The tour is promoting the singer's albums "Changes" and "Justice".
