Jordan's King Stresses Importance of Reaching Comprehensive Settlement in Palestine

Today, Sunday, Jordan's King Abdullah II received a phone call from Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, in which King Abdullah stressed the importance of finding a comprehensive settlement that would prevent any tension or escalation in the Palestinian territories.

The King of Jordan stressed during the call - according to the Jordan News Agency - the need to stop any actions that would cause violence, fuel conflict, and lead to undermining the chances of achieving peace.

The King of Jordan also stressed the importance of facilitating procedures aiming to enable worshipers to reach Al-Aqsa Mosque, without any obstacles and harassment, especially in the holy month of Ramadan, in which the number of worshipers and visitors to the Holy Mosque increases.
