Ayman Safadi, Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, affirmed that ending the Israeli occupation is the only way to achieve peace in the region, stressing: "we will never accept anything but respect for the historical and legal status quo in the sanctities of Jerusalem."
Safadi said - in a speech before the plenary session of the Jordanian Parliament, today, Wednesday, that Jordan was and will continue supporting the Palestinians, in order to stop the Israeli practices that deprive the Palestinian people of their full rights.
He added that the Jordanian diplomacy is aware of the danger posed by Israel in the occupied Palestinian territories, and has worked and continues to work to stop all Israeli measures and violations against the Palestinians.
