Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and Turkish Foreign Minister (FM) Hakan Fidan held phone talks on Wednesday.
During the phone call, they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and the latest regional developments, particularly in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and Syria, during a phone call on Wednesday.
The two ministers emphasized the necessity of full commitment to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and an immediate transition to its second phase.
They also called for intensifying international efforts to halt the dangerous Israeli escalation in the occupied West Bank.
Regarding the Syrian file, both sides affirmed their continued cooperation and coordination to support the Syrian state’s reconstruction efforts. They stressed the importance of ensuring Syria’s security and stability, while safeguarding its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of its citizens.
