Jordanian singer Adham Nabulsi announced Monday on social media that he's retiring from singing.
Nabulsi noted in a video he attached to the post that he was retiring to worship God.
"This video, is to tell you very happy news for me; everyone has goals they want to achieve in this life, but when we reach the goal, what will we feel? The main purpose of our existence in life is to please and worship God," he stated.
Nabulsi continued: “It is not a problem that we have goals, but that goal should be consistent with the purpose of our existence in life, which is to worship God,".
"For me, the dream that I was trying to achieve does not please God; thank god this day has come. I retired from singing. I thank you for your support. This is not the end, and I hope you will share my new journey with me," h singer concluded.
In 2013, Nabulsi made his debut as a singer in the Arabic version of the popular singing competition "The X Factor", where he finished in third place. His perse vocal ability, his unique voice, and style have attracted a huge fan base in the world.
