On Saturday, air traffic resumed in the countries that closed their airspace after the exchanged attacks between Israel and Iran.

Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon all announced the full reopening of their airspace to civilian aviation after assessing the security situation.

National airlines began gradually resuming their flights, with assurances of adherence to international safety standards.

In Jordan, the decision to reopen the airspace came into effect at 7:30 a.m., following a precautionary closure on Friday evening.

In Syria, the Civil Aviation Authority announced that the skies are now "safe and accessible," with both international and domestic flight corridors ready for use.

As for Lebanon, air traffic resumed as of 10:00 a.m., and flights at Beirut Airport were rescheduled accordingly.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Ben Gurion Airport—Israel’s main international airport—announced its closure on Saturday until further notice, following Iran's overnight missile launch in response to Israel's large-scale attack on Iranian territory.

Iran’s Civil Aviation Authority also announced on Saturday the closure of Iranian airspace “until further notice,” according to the official IRNA news agency, as the escalation between Iran and Israel entered its second day.

IRNA reported, “No flights will operate from any of the country’s airports in order to ensure passenger safety… until further notice.”

International airlines continue to reroute or cancel flights to affected destinations, pending stabilization of the region’s security situation.
