The first royal wedding has just taken place days ago.. This time, it was the Princess Raiyah bint Hussein of Jordan who wed to Roald Dahl's grandson, Ned Donovan, in a beautiful ceremony in the UK.
The bride, 34, took to Twitter to share two snaps from their big day as she thanked her fans for their well wishes on the special occasion. The bride wore a gorgeous white wedding dress that was ornately embroidered and featured long lace sleeves. She teamed her gown with a jewelled headband and a long flowing veil.
In the first picture the 26-year-old groom, who is the son of Roald Dahl's daughter Tess, is seen signing the marriage certificate while his bride sits close by.
The second photo shows the couple smiling on the balcony after the service.
Raiyah captioned the post: "Thank you all for your kind messages on our wedding!
"While it was originally planned for April in Jordan, the pandemic derailed those plans and it was safer for my husband's family to hold it in the UK," she wrote.
"God willing we are looking forward to celebrating in Jordan once the situation allows."
British 'Mirror' reported that Raiyah, who is the youngest daughter of King Hussein of Jordan and Queen Noor, became engaged to Donovan in October last year.

Raiyah's mother, the American-born Queen Noor, was among the guests at the small, socially-distanced wedding.
Royal couples have had to cancel their weddings just like thousands of couples across the world.
Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were due to be married in May but their big day has been postponed until further notice.
