A number of Israeli settlers stormed on Wednesday the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The settlers carried out provocative tours in its courtyards and performed Talmudi.
Earlier, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called for an urgent American intervention to stop the settlers’ terrorism acts against Palestinian civilians.
Noteworthy, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the violations committed by Israeli extremists protected by the Israeli forces against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Ahmed Hafez, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, affirmed Egypt’s rejection of these violations, stressing that Egypt has always warned against harming Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He also indicated that a mosque is a place of worship for Muslims. Hence, the Israeli authorities are responsible for protecting worshipers to maintain security and stability and refrain from everything that contributes to creating any tension or action that leads to escalation.
