Popstar Jennifer Lopez wore a dazzling yellow dress from Egyptian designer Yasmine Yeya`s collection while attending the opening of her film Hustlers.
Hustlers will be screened at the Toronto Film Festival, which is being held in Canada’s largest city, Toronto.
It is the second dress Jilo wears by an Egyptian designer, after the red dress of Egyptian designer Nagwa Zahran that Jilo wore last August in her concert in the New Alamein City.
Her second dress is one of Madison Yeya brand and one of Yeya`s fall/winter 2019 collection (FW19).
Lopez’s team asked Yeya to send them her collection and they chose this yellow dress to make this elegance look.
Yeya started her career as a fashion designer in 2007 after participating in the Mission Fashion program on the Lebanese channel Lbc. The jury included Lebanese designer Elie Saab. Yeya has reached the final qualifiers and was the second on the group and almost won first place.
Yeya is proud of her presence in Mission Fashion, where she benefited a lot from the Lebanese international designer Saab as she considered him her godfather for encouraging her ideas during the program. Along with her admiration for Saab’s designs, she loves the designs of Valentine, Armani, and Gucci.
*The starting point
Yeya was working in the publicity field before joining the program, which changed her life and brought her talent to light. She returned from the program to Egypt and opened Yeya fashion house. She became famous for providing distinctive designs.
Egyptian actress Mona Zaki and Tunisian actress Dorra Zarrouk wore from yeya`s designs in addition to other stars of art and Arab singing. She also is known for weddings dresses in terms of design, huge size and different colors from white. She used the ivory and light silver in the wedding dresses that provided to put a different and distinctive touch. For years, Yeya is a star in the wedding dresses of the high class in Egypt.
*A new start
She moved her business to Dubai two years ago and opened a fashion house named Madison Yeya.
Celebrities and public figures like Jacqueline Fernandez, and Kristin Cavallari wore Yeya designs on important occasions including Emmy awards.
