On Wednesday, the Japanese authorities announced intention to send about 100 military vehicles to Ukraine.
Japanese Minister of Defense Ino Toshiro handed Ukrainian Ambassador in Tokyo Sergei Korsunky a list of equipment that will be sent to Ukraine, during a ceremony held by the Ministry of Defense, according to Japanese Broadcasting Corporation (NHK).
During their meeting, Ino said the vehicles have played important roles in the JGSDF's missions, and they will be collected from units across Japan and transported to Ukraine.
For his part, Ukrainiaj Ambassador expressed his deep gratitude to Japan, calling Tokyo a reliable primary partner of Ukraine.
