The Japanese Foreign Ministry said that Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kuleba, in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, on Saturday.
The ministry added, in a statement, that Hayashi will reaffirm Japan's firm support for Ukraine during his talks with Kuleba and will talk about its participation in the efforts made by the international community to end the Russian invasion of Ukraine as soon as possible.
