The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately cold weather to prevail in most parts of the country during Sunday's daylight hours.

Moderately warm weather is also predicted to hit South Sinai and South Upper Egypt.

The country will also witness mist on agricultural and highway roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, Canal Cities, North Coast, Central Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Winds will be active across the country.

EMA highlighted that there are chances for rain in Great Cairo, and the south of Lower Egypt. In addition, Matrouh, Alexandria, and Kafr El Sheikh could see strong and thunderous rain.

Light rain may fall in the Red Sea areas and the north of Upper Egypt. 

Extremely cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt in the early hours and at the end of the nighttime.

Frost is expected in North Upper Egypt, Central Sinai, and Western Sahara.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 22°C in Cairo, 21°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Marsa Matruh, 25°C in Sohag, 27°C in Qena, and 27°C in Aswan.
