Dozens of Palestinians were injured by live ammunition and rubber bullets and tear gas canisters during clashes that broke out, today, Friday, with the Israeli occupation forces, in the governorates of Hebron, Nablus, and Qalqilya in the West Bank.
Palestinian sources in the Hebron governorate in the southern West Bank said that two young men were wounded by live bullets in the feet, while three others were wounded by rubber bullets during confrontations with the occupation in the center of Hebron city.
The occupation soldiers - according to eyewitnesses - fired live and rubber bullets and tear gas canisters, which led to the aforementioned injuries, in addition to suffocating dozens.
In the Nablus governorate in the northern West Bank, five Palestinians were injured by rubber bullets, and 22 others suffocated during confrontations with the occupation in the town of Beita, south of the governorate.
In the village of Beit Dajan in the east of the same governorate, two civilians, one of them a child, were wounded by rubber bullets, while 35 others suffocated due to tear gas canisters.
In the Qalqilya governorate in the northwest of the West Bank, eight Palestinians were wounded by rubber bullets, and dozens of people suffocated with tear gas, during the occupation army’s suppression of an anti-settlement march, which comes out weekly from Kafr Qaddum, to demand the opening of the village street that has been closed for more than 17 years, in favor of a settlement. Eyewitnesses said that clashes erupted with the occupation soldiers who tried to storm the village and its residents confronted them.
