Israeli occupation forces raided several villages and towns in the Nablus governorate in the northern West Bank on Tuesday.

Security and local sources indicated that the occupation forces raided the towns of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya and Madama, south of Nablus, on Tuesday morning, storming and searching a number of homes.

The sources added that the occupation forces also raided the villages of Beita, Burin, and Yatma, south of Nablus, at dawn, storming and searching homes, damaging their contents, and detaining a number of residents before releasing them later.

In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man from the city of Qalqilya in the northwestern West Bank on Tuesday.

Sources indicated that Israeli occupation forces stormed the city from its eastern entrance, deploying along Street 22, the Sufin area, and the Kafr Saba neighborhood. They arrested Walid Sweilem after raiding his home, searching it, and ransacking its contents.

The Permanent Representative of Palestine to the United Nations, Ambassador Riyad Mansour, had previously affirmed during his address to the UN Security Council session dedicated to discussing developments in the Middle East that Israel had not adhered to the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. He emphasized that the situation on the ground demonstrated the continuation of military operations and the daily loss of civilian lives.
