Today, Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 6 Palestinians from the governorates of Bethlehem and Qalqilya, in the south and northwest of the West Bank.
Palestinian security sources said that a woman and four young men were arrested from the town of Battir, west of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching the homes of their relatives.
The same sources added that the occupation forces beat a citizen in his fifties, during a verbal argument with one of the occupation soldiers, after preventing his neighbor from leaving his house with his sick daughter in the town. The forces also arrested a young man after they raided and searched his family’s house.
During the past week, the occupation authorities imposed a comprehensive closure on the West Bank and Gaza Strip due to the Jewish "Purim" holiday.
In turn, the Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad Al-Malki, called on the international community to criminalize the Israeli occupation, work to quickly end it, and not suffice with condemning the extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's racist statements.
