The Israeli newspaper Haaretz has acknowledged that the efforts of the Palestinian resistance to regain control in the Gaza Strip indicate its far reach from defeat, posing a challenge for U.S. President Joe Biden and his plans for the aftermath of the war.
In an article, the newspaper explained that the Palestinian resistance in Gaza has not been defeated and is far from it, with their efforts pointing towards regaining control.
The Israeli establishment is preparing for the arrival of U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken tomorrow, Wednesday, on a two-day visit, his fifth to the occupied Palestinian territories since October 7th last year.
The visit is expected to focus on the progress of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, plans for the day after the war, and a potential prisoner exchange deal.
Since October 7th last year, Israeli forces have launched a brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip, resulting in 27,585 martyrs and 66,978 injured, most of whom are women and children, according to Palestinian and UN sources.
