The Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs has confirmed that the so-called “yellow line” recently established in Gaza will not serve as a new border between Israel and the Gaza Strip, according to domestic Israeli media.
The minister described the measure as a temporary step tied to the security situation on the ground, stressing that it does not reflect any political or territorial change.
His remarks come amid ongoing military operations in the enclave, where Israel has reportedly designated certain areas to regulate movement and ensure what it describes as “security and operational needs.”
The minister did not specify how long the measure would remain in place or under what conditions it might be removed.
