According to Palestinian medical sources, Israeli forces raided the occupied West Bank early on Saturday and shot and killed two Palestinian militants. A third Palestinian died from wounds received in a different Israeli operation nearly two weeks earlier.

According to the military, gunmen in a passing vehicle fired at the soldiers before they opened fire in the village of Jaba. They claimed that afterward, soldiers seized an M-16 rifle from the car.

As a result of the killing, there have now been 12 Palestinian deaths in combat with Israeli forces this year, and the bloody warfare in the region since 2022 shows no signs of abating in the coming year.

The guys were named as Ezzeddin Hamamrah, 24, and Amjad Khleleyah, 23 by the Palestinian Health Ministry. South of Jenin, a town in the northern West Bank that has witnessed some of the bloodiest fighting in the past nearly year of conflict, is Jaba.
