The Israeli army announced today, Friday, that it bombed about 40 targets in the Gaza Strip within 24 hours, indicating that it is continuing its operations in Al-Zaytun area in the central Gaza Strip, and in other areas east of the Palestinian city of Rafah in the south of the Strip.
It added, in a statement, that the planes bombed several sites in the Palestinian Rafah.
It pointed out that Israeli aircraft bombed military installations, observation points and infrastructure.
The Israeli army spokesman, Avichay Adraee, said that the air force destroyed about 25 targets and is still operating in the area.
