Palestinian forces targeted an Israeli armored personnel carrier in central Rafah, striking it directly with an RPG.
Renewed artillery shelling has struck the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. Civil defense teams in Gaza managed to recover several casualties and injuries after an Israeli airstrike hit the home of the Al-Kuweifi family early Thursday morning.
The Al-Mujahideen Brigades announced a joint mortar attack with Saraya al-Quds, targeting Israeli soldiers and vehicles advancing in Shuja'iyya.
Additionally, the Omar al-Qasim Forces reported striking an "Eitan" armored personnel carrier with an RPG near Beersheba School in central Rafah, resulting in a direct hit.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate. The Gaza Municipality has reported that the current water supply amounts to only 25% of pre-conflict levels, covering just 40% of Gaza City.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the continuation of their operations in Shuja'iyya, Rafah, and central Gaza.
According to an IDF statement, activities are ongoing both above and below ground in Shuja'iyya.
"Over the past day, IDF forces have destroyed tunnel routes in the area and eliminated dozens of terrorists through close combat, tank fire, and airstrikes. In one incident, IDF forces killed seven terrorists in close quarters," the statement read.
The IDF emphasized that their operations are intelligence-driven. In Rafah, airstrikes have eliminated several armed terrorists who posed a threat to IDF forces. Similarly, in central Gaza, airstrikes have dismantled terrorist infrastructure and neutralized numerous militants.
