At least 10 Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip early Tuesday, according to Al-Qahera News.
The latest strikes come amid intensifying humanitarian concerns in the besieged enclave, where shortages of medicine, medical staff, and functioning hospitals have compounded the crisis for thousands of civilians.
In a joint statement, European foreign ministers stressed the urgent need to expand medical treatment for patients in Gaza as conditions continue to deteriorate. “There is a pressing need to broaden medical operations in Gaza alongside the worsening humanitarian catastrophe,” the ministers said, according to Al-Qahera News.
They further pledged readiness to support treatment of Gaza’s patients in the West Bank, offering to provide funding, medical equipment, and staff.
The appeal underscores mounting international alarm over the situation in Gaza, where weeks of bombardment and blockade have left the population facing shortages of essential supplies and access to care.
