Early Saturday, Israel attacked several targets in Iran which lasted for several hours. The Israeli officials said that this attack was a response to the previous ballistic missile attack by Iran that took place in early October, and April.

The Israeli military also sent a message to Iran, warning it of the consequences of further escalations.

The Israeli military said it attacked several sites that were used for missile production, in addition to military sites.

After the conclusion of the attack, “The Israel Defense Forces completed precise and targeted strikes against military targets in a number of areas in Iran. Our planes have safely returned home,” the statement said.

On the other hand, Iran’s official news agency (IRNA) said some military sites were struck in three provinces: Tehran, Ilam and Khuzestan,  highlighting that Iranian air defenses were successful and damage was “limited.”

“Dimensions of this incident are under investigation,” IRNA said.

In the same context, US senior official believed: “This should be the end of this direct exchange of fire between Israel and Iran." These statements came after the conclusion of Israel's attacks on Iran.
