Israel’s Home Front Command has implemented specific early warning procedures as part of its nationwide security measures, including the activation of sirens approximately 10 minutes before the anticipated arrival of incoming missiles.
The warning system is designed to give residents sufficient time to reach designated shelters, particularly in southern regions such as the Negev Desert and Netivot. These areas are considered potential targets in the event of a broader regional confrontation.
Israeli officials say the early alert mechanism is part of an expanded civil defense strategy aimed at minimizing civilian casualties, especially after previous incidents in which ballistic missiles reached Israeli territory during past confrontations involving Iran.
