The Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adrai stated, on Thursday, that the Iranian unit, responsible for planting explosive devices ,on the Syrian border, on the Golan Heights, was directed by the Quds Force.
"The IDF do reveal that the Iranian terrorist unit responsible for planting explosive devices, on the Syrian border, on the Golan Heights is Unit 840 directed by the Iranian Quds Force," Adrai wrote on Twitter.
“Unit 840 in Syria, a relatively secretive operational unit, takes it upon itself to plan and establish a terrorist infrastructure outside #Iran, directed against foreign and apposing targets,” he said in another tweet. “The unit is responsible for planting the devices which were discovered and neutralized yesterday.”

The Israeli army have previously released pictures and videos, claiming that they were powerful explosive devices, planted in the southern Golan Heights area at the Syrian-Israeli border, by the Syrians guided by Iran.
