Israel intensified its strikes across Rafah, killing at least 92 Palestinians, including two children, as the war in Gaza marks four months.
A barrage of air strikes and tank fire rocked Khan Yunis overnight and through the day, AFP reported.
The health ministry in Gaza reported that more than 100 people were killed across the Palestinian territory overnight, mostly women and children.
Meanwhile, UNICEF said: "The situation in Gaza has gone from catastrophic to near collapse."
"Children need a humanitarian ceasefire. Now."
