Israel Evacuates 28 Settlements Next to Border with Lebanon

The Israeli army announced the activation of a plan to evacuate residents of 28 settlements in the north of the country in the area up to two kilometers from the Lebanese border to guest houses, following an exchange of fire with Hezbollah.

The Emergency Management Authority of the Ministry of Defense and the Israeli army announced the implementation of a plan to evacuate residents of northern Israel in the area, which is up to two kilometers from the Lebanese border to state-funded guest houses.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant previously agreed to implement the plan, and the leadership of the northern region informed the heads of local authorities about the decision.

The Israeli army indicated that the plan will be implemented in coordination with the mayors of local municipalities, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Emergency Management Authority of the Ministry of Defense.
