The terrorist organization "ISIS" claimed responsibility for an attack during Sunday mass, at Kasindi church eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, killing at least 5 people and wounding 15 others.
A military spokesman in the Democratic Republic of Congo said over phone that at least 5 people were killed and 16 others were wounded, Sunday, in a bomb attack, suspected of being carried out by Islamist militants, on a church in the eastern city of Kasindi on the border with Uganda.
Army spokesman Anthony Mwalushayee said in a statement that it was a "terrorist act" that took place in a church in the town of Kasindi.
Mwalushayee announced later that five bodies had been taken to the hospital after the attack, explaining that this was a preliminary outcome.
A local civil society figure said the death toll was eight, and that 27 other people were wounded
