Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, declared that the U.S. accusations against Iran regarding terrorism are baseless, asserting that Washington is the primary supporter of terrorism in the region and the world.
Iravani stated, "The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly rejects and condemns these unfounded accusations and the irresponsible behavior of the U.S. representative."
He added, "It is very clear that the United States, not the Islamic Republic of Iran, is the main supporter and promoter of terrorism in the region and internationally. It is both laughable and shameful that the United States accuses the Islamic Republic of Iran while simultaneously supporting the genocide carried out by the Israeli entity, as it is a strong backer of this entity."
