Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi traveled to Geneva on Wednesday to take part in the third round of nuclear talks with the US, according to Iran’s Mehr News Agency.
The paper also reported that Araghchi is heading the Iranian delegation, which includes Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi and Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi.
A senior US official said that the meeting is scheduled for Thursday in Geneva, where US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are expected to hold discussions with the Iranian side. (MENA)
