At least 11 people were killed and several others injured after an Iranian missile struck a residential building in the southern Israeli city of Be'er Sheva, Israeli media reported early Tuesday.

According to Alqahera News, the missile directly hit a seven-story residential building, causing extensive damage and triggering a large-scale rescue operation.

Initial reports from Israeli emergency medical teams indicated six people were injured, including one in critical condition. Moments later, updates confirmed three fatalities, which later rose to 11 confirmed deaths as more victims were pulled from the rubble.

Footage from the scene showed emergency crews combing through debris as fires smoldered in the background. Authorities have yet to provide the total number of casualties or clarify if more individuals remain trapped inside.

The incident marks a significant escalation amid the ongoing exchange of hostilities between Iran and Israel, with Be'er Sheva—typically beyond the range of most regional missile threats—becoming a direct target in the latest wave of attacks.

Israeli officials have not yet formally responded to the strike, but further security and military briefings are expected later in the day.

This attack comes as part of a broader deterioration in regional stability, with international observers warning of the growing risk of a wider conflict.
