Statements and developments on the ground related to the military escalation in the region continue. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi asserted that the Strait of Hormuz will not be accessible to what he called Iran's enemies, while Israeli reports indicated a fire broke out in Jerusalem as a result of falling missile debris.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that the United States initiated the war with the aim of forcing Iran to surrender unconditionally.

He added that Washington is now seeking assistance from other countries to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Araqchi affirmed that the Strait of Hormuz remains open to navigation, but emphasized that it is closed to Iran's enemies.

He indicated that the current war must end in a way that prevents Tehran's enemies from repeating their attacks in the future.
