The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Baghaei Hamaneh, revealed that Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi plans to visit Baghdad tomorrow, Sunday, for regional consultations with senior Iraqi officials.
According to Iran's (IRNA) news agency on Saturday, the spokesperson stated, "Following diplomatic consultations with countries in the region, Foreign Minister Araghchi will lead a delegation to Baghdad tomorrow." During the visit, Araghchi will meet with the Iraqi Foreign Minister and several senior Iraqi officials to discuss bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.
Additionally, the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad, Mohammad Kazem Al Sadeq, confirmed that the Iranian Foreign Minister would visit Baghdad to hold talks with senior Iraqi officials regarding bilateral and regional relations.
Previously, the Iranian Foreign Minister had visited Lebanon, Syria, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia to discuss regional developments.
