Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, warned on Wednesday of a strong and decisive response to any potential Israeli attacks against Iran, emphasizing that all Iranian forces are on high alert.

Speaking on the sidelines of a military parade in Tehran, Mousavi stated, "The Iranian Armed Forces are prepared to respond decisively and with overwhelming force to any aggression that threatens our country’s interests." He added, "Our forces are alert across the country, and the wise on the other side are trying to prevent the Israeli entity from making a new mistake, but for us, the enemy remains the enemy," as reported by the Iranian News Agency (IRNA).

"We will respond at the same level," the Iranian army commander affirmed, highlighting that Iranian forces would utilize lethal weapons against any potential Israeli attacks as a warning message.

Mousavi further noted, "Our enemies have long abandoned the military option... However, we remain ready and vigilant to deal with any attack." He also mentioned that the military equipment displayed across Iran during the army parade represents just a small portion of the nation’s capabilities.

This statement comes in the context of a recent Iranian assault involving approximately 300 missiles and drones on Israel last Saturday night, in retaliation for Tel Aviv’s bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which caused some damage to Israeli military sites.
