Iran is holding indirect negotiations with US representatives in Oman, Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) Amir Saeid Iravani confirmed.
Iravani told reporters that "these talks are an ongoing process" and that "the negotiations have not been the first and will not be the last of their kind," according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency.
The Iranian official did not provide further details about the indirect talks.
