Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran will continue to seek a peaceful resolution to its disputes with the United States while maintaining a firm commitment to defending its national sovereignty.
In his remarks, Araghchi affirmed that Iran remains committed to diplomacy and will work hard to resolve disagreements with Washington through peaceful means.
He noted that a potential agreement between the two countries is achievable if diplomatic efforts are prioritized.
“At the same time, we will not hesitate to do whatever is necessary to protect our sovereignty,” the Iranian foreign minister said, underscoring Iran’s firm stance on national interests.
Araghchi’s comments come amid renewed diplomatic contacts between Iran and the United States aimed at easing tensions and addressing long-standing disputes, including Iran’s nuclear program and regional security issues.
