Iran's Civil Aviation Organization announced on Friday the opening of its airspace to international flights and the resumption of all flights, following the reopening of Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini airports in Iran, as well as airports in the north, east, west, and south of the country.
The Iranian organization said in a statement that "after coordination among agencies and numerous meetings of aviation-related bodies, and with the approval of the Civil Aviation Organization's Coordination Committee, Mehrabad and Imam Khomeini airports, along with airports in northern, eastern, western, and southern Iran, have been reopened and are ready to provide aviation services," according to the Iranian Mehr News Agency.
