Iran Denies Missile Launch as Israel Threatens Strikes on Tehran Over Ceasefire Violation

Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff has denied launching any missiles toward Israel in recent hours, pushing back against reports of aggression amid growing regional tension.

Earlier, Israel’s public broadcaster, citing a political source, claimed that Iran had violated the ceasefire agreement and warned that Tehran would "pay the price."

In a swift response, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said on Tuesday that he had instructed the military to launch a strong retaliation. “The army has been directed to carry out powerful strikes against targets in the heart of Tehran,” Katz said, according to Alqahera News Channel.

Echoing this stance, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi vowed a forceful response, stating that Iran would be heavily targeted for its alleged breach of the truce.

The latest exchange of accusations threatens to unravel an already fragile ceasefire, as both sides trade blame amid heightened alert. The situation remains fluid, with the potential for rapid escalation.

International calls for restraint have grown louder, with concerns mounting over the risk of a broader regional conflict that could destabilize the Middle East and derail ongoing diplomatic efforts.
