On Wednesday, Iran appointed the first-ever female spokesperson for the government.
Fatemeh Mohajerani was appointed as the government spokesperson by Masoud Pezeshkian.
Mohajerani is 54 years. She is a Business Administration professor who received her degree from the Edinburgh Campus of Heriot-Watt University in Scotland.
Previously, she served as the head of the Technical and Vocational Training University of Shariati for women.
In 2017, she held the position of the head of the Center for Brilliant Talents, alongside various positions in the Ministry of Education during her career.
