IPhone tried to forge its own path and develop many of the technologies it incorporates into its products, which introduced five iPhone models for 2020, one 6.7-inch high-end iPhone, two 6.1-inch iPhones , and one entry-level 5.4-inch iPhone, each of which would also have support for Sub-6GHz and/or mmWave 5G .

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, reported the new version be coming sometime in the first half of 2020. It is expected to have a 4.7-inch display and mimic the size and design of the iPhone 8 with updated internals, and an updated single camera.

The phones will feature 5G connectivity, with the differences among them, other than screen sizes, also the quality of the cameras, reported 9to5mac . Apple is reportedly planning to 'relocate' the Touch ID to the power button on the side of the phone.

According to Extreme tech, Apple will find it a challenge to get users to accept wireless-only charging. For one, it’s harder to use the phone while it’s charging wirelessly.

Also, Wireless charging is slow, too. Apple’s implementation of the Qi standard currently tops out at 7.5W, slower than the 10W you get with the stock charging cable. Even if Apple devised a custom wireless charging standard, it couldn’t match the ever-higher USB-C charging speeds offered on other devices.

Latter, Apple has unveiled its newest version of the iPhone at the annual event which was held on Tuesday September 10th.

iPhone 11 comes with a second camera and looks the same as last year’s popular iPhone XR with a few new colors, while the high-end versions are modeled after the iPhone XS and XS Max. Now labeled the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, these new offerings have a third camera lens, a 4- to 5-hour boost in battery life and other minor tech upgrades, according to nbc.

All three have an even bigger camera bump to make room for the new lenses, and the company finally responded by setting the starting price of the iPhone 11 at $699, $50 less than the iPhone XR, to criticize its escalating prices.
