IOM Holds Training Workshop for Solidarity Ministry Workers

The International Organization for Migration (IOM), in close coordination with the National Coordinating Committee for Combating and Preventing Illegal Migration and Trafficking in Persons (NCCPIM&TiP), organized training workshop in the field of combating trafficking in persons for 29 employees of the rapid intervention and family affairs team of Solidarity Ministry.

The workshop served as an excellent opportunity to gather the rapid intervention and family affairs workers to enhance their knowledge and exchange experiences and challenges on topics relevant to vulnerable migration children with a focus on cybercrime from a national and international perspective in this area.

The lectures entitled: "Action to Support NCCPIM&TiP to Create a Safe and Secure Environment in Egypt " included a presentation on IOM’s role and mandate in Egypt, the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, and services provided for victims of trafficking in Egypt.
