Since the early hours of Friday morning, the main streets, squares and axes witnessed an intense security deployment, as part of the plan prepared by the Ministry of Interior to secure citizens' celebrations of Eid Al-Fitr.
A security source said that the Minister of Interior directed to raise the levels of security vigilance and the intensive security deployment to secure all important and vital facilities in the country during the festive period.
The source added that security reinforcements, supported by elements of the women's police, were deployed in the vicinity of gardens and public parks, major commercial centers, cinemas, and the water surface of the Nile River, in addition to other places that witness large gatherings of citizens during the celebration period.
It pointed out that the Minister directed the necessity of intensifying traffic campaigns on all highways and main axes, and fully linking to the operations rooms, in addition to activating the role of checkpoints, and intensifying the presence of traffic relief vehicles on all roads to provide assistance to citizens, control violations, and achieve traffic liquidity to achieve the concept of general deterrence and spread a sense of security.
