On the occasion of the celebration of the Easter Sunday, Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik sent a congratulatory message to Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark.
“With sincere feelings of love and peace and sincere expressions of appreciation and respect, it is my pleasure and the Police Authority’s to send to your holiness and Christian brothers sincere congratulations and sincere wishes on the occasion of the glorious Eastern Sunday,” the letter read.
The Minister of the Interior also sent a telegram of congratulations to Anba Ibrahim Ishaq Sedrak, Patriarch of the Coptic Catholic community in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
“With feelings of love and peace, it is good for me and the police to express to you and the Coptic Catholic community in all parts of the country sincere congratulations and sincere wishes on the occasion of the glorious Eastern Day. May God Almighty glorify our glory over our unity and interdependence,” the message read.
Tawfik also sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Dr. Pastor Andre Zaki, the head of the evangelical community in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
According to the message, “On the occasion of the glorious Easter Day, I and the police send you and the evangelical community sincere congratulations and sincere wishes. Happy Easter Day.”
The Minister of the Interior also sent a message of congratulations to the police officers, leaders, officers, civil workers, secretaries, assistants, delegates, security aides, soldiers, experts, and recruits.
