Intense Heatwave Baking Egypt Ends on Friday, Cairo 34°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the heatwave that has been sweeping across Egypt this week has finally ended on Friday.

It is predicted that the weather will begin to improve, with temperatures dropping from four to five degrees.

Hot weather is also predicted to prevail in most parts of the country during the daylight hours.

Moderately warm weather to hit the North Coast and scorching weather is also predicted to hit the South Upper Egypt.

Wind will be active occasionally across the country.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Moreover, most parts of the country will experience moderate weather at nighttime.

Moderately warm weather is also predicted to prevail in the south of the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 34°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 36°C in Sohag, 43°C in Qena, and 43°C in Aswan.
