On Sunday, Instagram presented a new feature to “Live Rooms”, which now allows up to four people to broadcast live together at the same time.

This is an upgrade to the platform's previous live stream limit, which previously allowed users to live stream with one other person, similar to Facebook Live.

The company expressed its hopes that the new feature will open up more creative opportunities and allow for things such as live talk shows, expanded Q&As or interviews and jam sessions for musicians.

How to go Live?

To start a "Live Room", you will swipe left and select the "Live camera" option, then title the "Room" and tap the "Room icon" to add guests. You will see a list of people who have already requested to go live with you and you will be able to search for other guests to add.
