On the holy occasion of Eid-Al-Adha, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has conveyed his greetings to His Excellency President of Egypt Mr. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and friendly people of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In his message, PM Modi has emphasized that this occasion reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion and brotherhood, which are essential in building a peaceful and inclusive world.
He also underscored importance of the festival for India, highlighting that the festival is an integral part of India’s multi-cultural heritage and is celebrated across the length and breadth of the country with fervour and gaiety by millions of Indian citizens of Islamic faith.
