India recorded on Saturday, the highest daily death toll from Coronavirus, in nearly five months.
India regestired over 1,500 Covid-19 cases, the highest in 146 days, health ministry data showed.
The death toll went up to 5,30,824 with six more fatalities- three reported from Maharashtra and one each recorded in Karnataka, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand.
It is worth mentioing that the total number of cases recorded in India since the beginning of the outbreak of the pandemic exceeded 44,700,000, while the total deaths surpassed half a million.
